This co-ed league is designed for younger players who are either new to the game or have limited experience and require further development before transitioning to a recreational league. Dedicated coaches and volunteers focus on teaching essential skills such as passing and catching, basic rules of gameplay and respect for equipment and sport. The league's goal is to foster a love for the sport, encourage teamwork, and emphasize the importance of safe play and good sportsmanship. One or two offensive coaches will call the plays and serve as the quarterback, while one or two defensive coaches will oversee defense from 10-15 yards behind the players. Depending on registration numbers, teams may be organized by age or combined.
Since many participants are new to organized sports, we encourage young players to minimize interactions with parents and non-players on the sidelines. Instead, we promote active participation and respect for teammates, coaches, volunteer Sideline Parents, and the game. To cultivate a supportive and less intimidating atmosphere for beginners learning to enjoy football, game scores and division standings will not be recorded. This is a fantastic opportunity for players to bond with their parents or guardians on the field. By participating in the volunteer Sideline Parent role, parents can engage actively on the field and inspire athletes to embrace R.D.M.F.’s values of volunteering and being part of the R.D.M.F. community.
This league has a maximum capacity of 48 players, with 12 players assigned to each team.

Division groups, league sizes, and teams will depend on the number of registrations received. Game and practice ratios will be determined at the discretion of the head coach.
