There are many needs to run our organization and we absolutely could not run without the help and dedication of our volunteers. These positions have helped build RDMF and its success. We collect volunteer cheques that will be refunded at the end of the year after your volunteering duties have been fulfilled.
Examples of seasonal volunteer positions:

As you can tell, there is a lot of help needed to make each year successful! We look forward to a great season of football and if you have any questions or concerns, please as your coach or team manger
Coaches - usually selected in March/April each year before season registration opens. Training is required and please email info@rdminorfootball.ca if you are interested. Head Coaches, Coaches, and Team Managers are the central points of contact for parents after the season has started.
Team manager - one person per team
Raffle Coordinators - usually one per team that is responsible for collecting funds and ticket stubs.
Field Set-up (2 people) - 30 minutes before game time (Including Goal posts/yard markers/etc.)
Field Take down (2 people) - 30 minutes before game time (Including Goal posts/yard markers/etc.)
Port A potty before game and halftime (2 people). This is making sure they still have toilet paper and hand sanitizer (Little John's cleans the potties weekly).
Game Day Photos Volunteer (Optional to purchase, mandatory to attend since all players/coaches are added to a team photo) - parent helps coordinate paperwork, jerseys, etc.
After Every Practice we need 2 people to walk the field we practiced on and to pick up any garbage left behind. Every parent can sign up for at least one of these spots.
Other Volunteer Positions - Season end Coaches gift coordinator - 2 people responsible to collect donations from parents toward coaches gift.
Jersey Parent is the person that is responsible to bring and distribute game jerseys, wash with provided instructions, and ensure jerseys are collected after each game.
